voted off the island

What a roller coaster of a week, I went to the studio on Monday was promptly fired from my band (Poormercy). The only reason that was given was that it is a “Conflict Of Interest” that I work for I-5′S (club I help manage) and perform with them. I’ve been booking Poormercy at I-5′S for the last 2 years with great success. Every soul I have discussed this with cannot help me figure out the logic involved. I’m having a hard time parting ways with all my art, and the years of championing what I thought was my life-blood. I guess life kinda sticks it to those who love too much of it. I feel depressed, cold…  and distant. My humor in these kinds of situations is whats really keeping me from  being a vegetable.  There is some light at the end of my tunnel..  I can only pray its not a damn choo-choo.
